Cheston Farm is a family-run licensed riding centre in south Devon who have an impeccable reputation. Based in picturesque surroundings on the edge of Dartmoor, the farm offers a complete range of riding services as well as riding holidays and Bed & Breakfast.
As is often the way, their original website was built by a family member. It was technically very good and had extensive content which meant that it ranked well for SEO. However the need to cater for mobile visitors meant that they decided to ask us to build their new site.
We used the opportunity to reorganise some of the site’s content, and deliver a strong visual with an good user experience, with clear layouts, navigation steps and logical calls to action.
From an SEO perspective we’ve maintained the existing ranking and extended this by adding further content, and giving the farm’s owners and staff the tools to also add and edit their own content.
